Animal Carousel. Tin Toy / retro / clockwork fairground toy

Eccentric, brightly coloured carousel. This unconventional carousel has pigs and dogs, instead of the traditional horses. The figures on the ride are colour coordinated to their chosen animals, via hats and bonnets. The top of the carousel is decorated with scenes from 6 fairy tales (Frog Prince, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, etc.) 11cm.

All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.

The items are likely to have sharp points and small parts and are NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. They are sold as nostalgic replica products for adult collectors only and are not designed to comply with European Toy Safety Legislation.
