Slide the lever across the serving hatch and the postmaster appears at the window whilst the serving counter slides out of the front. Place a coin on the post office counter, press the button and the coin shoots into the building and the hatch closes up again. The coins can be retreived from the underside using the key provided.
All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
The items are likely to have sharp points and small parts and are NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. They are sold as nostalgic replica products for adult collectors only and are not designed to comply with European Toy Safety Legislation.
