Double deck that features extracts from classic paintings by the impressionist Claude Monet. Whilst travelling by train through Normandy, Claude Monet noticed the village of Giverny. He immediately noticed the village's beauty and set his mind to renting a house there. In 1890 he brought the house and land outright and created the exact gardens he wanted to paint. Monet lived in Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. He and many members of his family are interred in the village cemetery. Standard Bridge size 89mm x 58mm.
