Cribbage boards

Cribbage is a popular game for two or more players using a standard deck of playing cards and cribbage board to keep score.

The game is believed to have been devised by the wealthy poet Sir John Suckling, who evolved the rules from a 16th century English card game called Noddy or Nodde. Cribb. is often referred to as Britain's national card game, to this day it is the only game that can be legally played in licensed premises without permission from the local authority. The game is also very popular in North America.

Traditionally cribbage is played with two players but can be played with three players, or with more as pairs of players.
