This as an excellent replica of what is thought to be the worlds first tin toy robot. The Lilliput Robot first appeared in Japan in the late 1930's. He measures approx 16cm tall. Wind him up and he scoots along. Key and box with colourful graphics is included.
All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
The items are likely to have sharp points and small parts and are NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. They are sold as nostalgic replica products for adult collectors only and are not designed to comply with European Toy Safety Legislation.
