Classic carousel

One of the best and most attractive new tin toys for a long time. Made in Germany to the highest standards, the traditional tin carousel is a work of art. The pull-and-release lever on the base starts the carousel gently rotating, gradually gaining speed and swinging the chairs out sideways, just like the real thing, before slowly winding down again. The perfect centre piece for any display of tin toys. 18cm.

All of our tin toys are reproduced using the same manufacturing techniques employed in the mid-19th century. Being somewhat primitive compared to modern manufacturing methods, the toys sometimes have little marks or scratches which add to their authentic quirky nature.
